Corsair M75 Air Mouse Design

Corsair M75 Air Mouse

When envisioning a typical PC mouse, many may visualize something akin to the M75 Air. It embraces a highly simplistic design, aligning with the perfected ergonomic principles developed over the years.

Notably absent are the vibrant RGB features, making it an ideal choice for those seeking to minimize distractions and concentrate on their gaming session or work.

Equipped with merely five buttons—two primary clickers, a scroll wheel, and two buttons on the left side—the mouse’s functionality can be customized using iCUE to better suit individual preferences. Additionally, the subtle Corsair logo is delicately etched on the lower front of the main mouse body.

Examining the underside of the M75 Air reveals an equally uncomplicated design, featuring only two attached skates. Despite the minimal skates, the mouse effortlessly glides across surfaces, demonstrating its efficiency without causing scratches or generating disruptive sounds.

The wireless nature of the mouse comes into full play underneath, providing enhanced freedom without the hindrance of tangled wires. Alternatively, for those who prefer a wired connection, there’s a conveniently placed USB-C port at the front. Moreover, if wireless is the preferred mode, an exceptionally compact dongle resides securely underneath the mouse.

Corsair M75 Air Mouse Features

It’s important to highlight that the M75 Air was crafted with simplicity as its guiding principle. Instead of burdening the mouse with extra buttons, RGB lighting, or a unique shape, the M75 Air adheres to its foundational design, prioritizing quality over aesthetics.

A standout feature that left a lasting impression is its remarkable battery life. With an impressive 100 hours of longevity, I initially harbored skepticism while charging it for the first time. However, the M75 Air lived up to expectations, requiring a full charge only once every two weeks, even after extensive use throughout the workday and prolonged gaming sessions.

Achieving an extended battery life in a wireless mouse is a challenging feat, and while the absence of lighting on the M75 Air makes monitoring the battery a bit frustrating, its prolonged life suggests users may opt to charge it before heading out or whenever convenient.

The primary allure of the M75 Air lies in its ultralightweight construction, boasting an impressive overall weight of 60g. The mouse’s noticeable lightness significantly contributes to a smooth and effortless user experience, particularly during prolonged periods of use.

When coupled with its skates, the M75 Air emerges as a seamlessly designed device that prioritizes speed, ease of use, and an overall smoother user experience.

Corsair M75 Air Mouse Gaming Performance

Corsair M75 Air Mouse

Crafted with FPS games in mind, the M75 Air excels in high-speed environments. Throughout the testing phase, where I employed the mouse in diverse FPS games such as Valorant and Call of Duty, there were occasional instances of minor lag. Nevertheless, when juxtaposed with the mouse’s sub-1-millisecond standard, the lag felt inconsequential.

Corsair’s lightweight design and swift responsiveness facilitated agile movements. Maneuvering felt effortlessly straightforward, enabling me to swiftly handle weapon throws without requiring significant desk space or exertion.
