Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 Synopsis
Yuji Itadori, a high school student, found pleasure in engaging in baseless supernatural activities with his seniors at the Occult Club. Despite his exceptional physical abilities, he continued to spend time with his seniors and visit his hospitalized grandfather after school.
One fateful day, he crossed paths with Megumi Fushiguro, a first-year sorcerer from Tokyo Jujutsu High, who warned him about a dangerous cursed item that Itadori’s seniors had obtained. This posed a threat to the lives of those in possession of it, prompting the two to hurry to Itadori’s school to rescue them. While they managed to save the individuals, Fushiguro was unexpectedly attacked by another curse.
Itadori came to his aid and made the decision to consume the cursed item in order to acquire powers to combat curses. However, in doing so, he became a vessel for Sukuna, the King of Curses, albeit only partially. Subsequently, Itadori was enrolled in Tokyo Jujutsu High with the guidance of Satoru Gojo, with the goal of becoming a jujutsu sorcerer. From that point onward, Itadori embarked on a path from which he could not retreat, regardless of the challenges he would face.
