Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 9 Explained

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 9 is important, but Episode 10 is even more important. The arrest of Satoru Gojo marks the end of the first part of the Shibuya Incident story, and new problems are about to happen. Episode 9 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was a really exciting mix of strong feelings and fighting. “Geto” shared important information about the Prison Realm.

Additionally, this episode showed how Geto was able to avoid dying after being sentenced to death in Jujutsu Kaisen 0. In simpler words, the story showed Mechamaru coming back and gave a first look at the bad plans of the bad guys.

We watch Gojo fight Jogo and Hanami, but he mostly focuses on Jogo. He uses very little cursed energy and mostly uses physical attacks like martial arts. It was an amazing win when Gojo pushed Hanami against the wall with a lot of powerful cursed energy and basically made him explode, like that girl in the first Cloverfield movie when she was in the tent.

Yes, it was really great. However, we later discovered that the actual plan is to restrict Gojo’s movements and hide him away, or possibly even harm him, depending on which happens first. In simpler terms, we see memories of Geto and his group discussing their strategy for the Prison Domain. They plan to use it to possibly keep Gojo hidden away for a very long time, maybe even forever. At that moment, we realized that something bad was going to happen to my favorite anime character, Gojo. We simply didn’t have knowledge about it.

Now, let’s talk about Yuji. He is at the station, watching the damage. He speaks to a woman who looks upset, and she tells him that everyone on the train started transforming into monsters. She also says that she wasn’t required to turn into a monster because there were already enough of them on the train. And then she quickly changes into a very ugly monster and passes away. At that moment, both us viewers and Yuji realized something was really bad – the train was headed towards Gojo and the innocent people.

When the train arrives and people are happy to leave, the monsters come out and start attacking, eating, and killing everyone they see. It was quite unsettling.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 9: The Prison Realm and “Suguru Geto”

When something like this happens in a movie or show, I get really worried for the innocent people involved. Innocent people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time, having fun while wearing Halloween costumes, were completely destroyed by Mahito, a curse called Death Painting that appeared unexpectedly, Jogo, and the monsters who used to be human and were still on the platform.

Let’s stop and acknowledge that my love for Gojo in this episode is completely reasonable. There is nothing he can’t do. He is extremely skilled, powerful, and smart. He can calculate things that we can’t even comprehend in a very short time, and he carefully considers the advantages and disadvantages of his choices.

This guy created a powerful spell on a computer system, which lasted for nearly 5 minutes, and used it to defeat 1000 transformed humans to protect the rest. It’s completely crazy. It’s even more praiseworthy that he did it so quickly to protect the survivors’ minds. Gojo sometimes behaves in a silly and cold way and always speaks honestly. However, he genuinely cares and understands what it takes to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer. He is there to keep the innocent safe from Curses, even if they cannot see them. And he does exactly that.

In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the best anime movie so far, Geto, who is cursed and uses Geto’s body, plans to surprise and defeat Gojo. He successfully surprises Gojo, just as he intended. He only needed that. Gojo paused for a moment, and during that time, Geto used a technique called the Prison Domain to completely stop Gojo from moving. And then, he closed/locked him up.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 9 provides fans with an in-depth exploration of the Shibuya Incident Arc, unraveling its complexities and character dynamics. From intense battles to the deeper mysteries of curses and jujutsu sorcery, this episode offers a captivating blend of action and storytelling. As the arc continues to unfold, viewers can expect more surprises and revelations, making Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 a must-watch for fans of the supernatural and the occult.
