While navigating the palace, Cid unexpectedly encountered Reina and Perv sharing an intimate moment. Sparking an idea to manipulate Rose into believing her mother’s betrayal, thereby turning her into a tyrant. Transitioning into his Shadow persona, Cid encountered Rose and escorted her away from Reina’s quarters to expose her mother’s true nature.
Opting to wear the Ring of Succession left by her father for his daughter. Rose experienced several apparitions of the King of Oriana. Revealing that he had been deceived and drugged by Perv. He declared his decision to entrust the Kingdom to the innocent hands of his daughter, Rose.
