Frostbite Armor Set Chest Piece Location in Zelda TOTK
The Frostbite Shirt can be found in Brightcap Cave, located east of Rito Village at coordinates (-3002, 1641, 0201). To reach the cave, follow the main road towards Tabantha Hills until you align vertically with Tama Pond on the map. The entrance is slightly south, and you’ll notice two characters chatting nearby.
Upon entering the cave, you’ll encounter a Horriblin enemy. Use your Recall ability to dodge its rock attacks or stun it with a well-aimed arrow. Further inside, you’ll face a Like Like, which you can either ignore or attack when it reveals its tongue.
As you progress through the cave, you’ll soon approach the treasure. The path to the chest is obstructed by vines, which can be burned with a fire fruit or bypassed by climbing the adjacent walls.
Once you reach the chest, claim the Frostbite Shirt. This armor provides 2 defense and grants the ability to unleash cold weather attacks in low-temperature environments.
Outside the cave, you’ll find two characters requesting 10 brightcaps. You can collect these mushrooms inside the cave if you don’t have enough. In return, they will reward you with a Spicy Tomato Mushroom Stew, offering five and a half minutes of cold resistance. This completes the “Cave Mushrooms that Grow” side quest.
Frostbite Armor Set Leg Piece Location in Zelda TOTK
You can find the Frostbite Trousers in Hebra Headspring Cave, located at coordinates (-2897, 2511, 0393), at the northern end of Hebra Headspring, south of the Hebra Mountains, and northeast of Hebra Plunge.
As you follow the riverside, you will discover the cave. Inside, you will face two Ice Keeses, which you can defeat with melee attacks or arrows from a distance.
To access the treasure room on the opposite side of the cave, it is advisable to jump onto the vertical structures and avoid the icy sections. Glide to the other side using your paraglider. To create an ice platform, throw a white chuchu jelly or use an ice fruit in the water beneath the wall that leads to the treasure room.
Wait for the water current to move the ice platform towards Link, then use Recall to jump on it and get close to the wall without touching the freezing water. Although the ice platform is temporary, you’ll have enough time to jump and grab onto the wall.
While Link can’t fully grip onto the ice segment of the wall, he can hold on for a few seconds. Utilize this time to jump your way up to the treasure room.
Open the chest in the treasure room to obtain the Frostbite Trousers. These trousers provide 2 defense and allow for cold weather attacks in low-temperature environments.
Frostbite Armor Set Head Piece Location in Zelda TOTK
The Frostbite Shirt may be located at (-3930, 2859, -0015) in Lake Kilsie Cave. West of the Hebra Mountains and northwest of Rito Village.
To get to the cave, climb the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower and then fly down with your paraglider. Using Recall and ranged strikes, defeat the Horriblin.
Use the air released by a ground breach to elevate yourself with the paraglider within the cave. The treasure room is obstructed by ice stalactites on the right. Remove them with a flaming fruit and an arrow, or for a one-shot solution, use a bomb flower.
A rock wall ahead may be demolished with a weapon fused with a rock or a bomb blossom. To receive the Frostbite Shirt, pass through the wall and open the chest in the treasure chamber. It completes the set by adding two points of defence and allowing cold weather assaults in low-temperature conditions. That concludes the Frostbite Armour set!
