What are Tarsyu Saplings in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora?
Tarsyu Saplings are necessary for gaining skill points in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. These are small plants that you can find in the game. They aren’t as spectacular as the larger blossoms, but they appear more frequently. When you gather them, you gain skill points, which are like bonus points for your character.
There is a special challenge in the game where you win a trophy or achievement if you find 20 Tarsyu Saplings. These saplings look like pink buds on the Western Frontier, and as you approach close to them, they bloom. You gain a skill point when you engage with them, which helps your character grow stronger.

Location #1: Tarsyu Sapling
A Tarsyu Sapling can be found near Spinner’s Circle in the Kinglor Forest. It’s in the beginning of the woodland, however the bottom-left corner of the screen may say Waterway Valley. It can be found on a high point north of the Foragers’ Meeting Na’vi Camp. It’s perched on a cliff, with a view over Shadow Hollow to the east.
Location #2: Tarsyu Sapling
Another Tarsyu Sapling may be found on the eastern boundary of Spinner’s Circle, Kinglor Forest. On the map, look for a large tree south of the Filigree Branch Na’vi Camp and east of the Drill Tower Charlie emplacement. Even though the label indicates that the Sapling is southeast of the tree, walk directly under it by walking between the roots. The Sapling can be found in the middle of the meadow.
Location #3: Tarsyu Sapling
A Sapling is waiting in Waterway Valley, Kinglor Forest’s eastern region. Head north of here, past the Wetwood Nest Na’vi Camp and east of the Dredger Delta facility. It’s perched atop a tall rock in the middle of a wooded clearing. Climb the rock sides and utilise Lift Vines to get there. Don’t worry if that seems a little difficult. After finishing the “Take Flight” Story Quest, return with a flying Ikran mount.
Location #4: Tarsyu Sapling
Another Tarsyu Sapling may be found in Kinglor Forest, in the south-western corner of Waterway Valley. Proceed to the south-west of the Marshland Field Lab. The Sapling can be found inside a cave just east of the Sapling’s marker on the map screen. After passing through the cave passage, you’ll be in a tiny clearing with the Sapling close overhead. To reach the upper level of the cave, make a 360-degree turn around a rock column. Take a jump from there to reach the Sapling.
Location #5: Tarsyu Saplings
The lone Tarsyu Sapling may be found in the Rising Spires sector of Kinglor Forest, right in the middle. It is located on the map screen between the labels The Five Sisters and Sister’s Steps, south-west of the Sunshade Silks Na’vi Camp and north-east of the Scree Station Field Lab. It can be found between two large rock column structures. Climb up the slope of the Eastern one, utilising ledges from the South, to get there.

Tarsyu Sapling 6 is located in the north-western corner of Kinglor Forest’s Stoneblade Ridge region. It’s on an island in the middle of Bough River, south of Ovation Falls, west of the Deeper Connection Tarsyu Flower, and north of the Thundering Falls Na’vi Camp.
Tarsyu Sapling 7 can be found in the Blackwater Basin of Stoneblade Ridge. Head towards the Over Gentle Water Na’vi Camp, then across the river to the cliffs to the north-west. Enter a cave passage, take care of the Dragon Mushroom vent, and exit into a room. Drop to the left and turn left to find the Sapling.
Tarsyu Sapling 8 is located in Silk Woods to the north-east, slightly north of the Weaver’s Flourish Na’vi Camp. Head to the bottom of the chasm just north of the camp, then east along the Northern cliff to find a cave along the river. The Sapling awaits you inside the cave.
Tarsyu Sapling 9 in Silk Woods is located on the Western side of a lake, close east of The Aranahe Clan’s Hometree. On this side of the lake, look for a massive hollow tree trunk with the Sapling inside.
Tarsyu Sapling 10 is located in Silk Woods – River’s Embrace, between River’s Run Na’vi Camp to the south-west and Gas Harvester Alpha to the north-east. Ignore the vine sign on the Map Screen and go to the nearest cave entrance, walk through, and look for the Sapling on a ledge above the water.
Location #11 to 16: Tarsyu Sapling
Tarsyu Sapling 11 is located on the western edge of Silk Woods, between the Healing Sanctuary Na’vi Camp to the south-east and the Great Oak Field Lab to the north-west. Look for a sinkhole between some trees in the jungle, then leap down onto Speckled Mushrooms and look for the Tarsyu Sapling in the cave. A running Air Boost jump will get you there.
Tarsyu Sapling 12 can be found in the North-Western part of Gossamer Lakes – Woodsprite Arches. Look for the Woodsprite Arches region and soar inside the rocks with a flying Ikran mount from the “Take Flight” Main Quest to find the Sapling.
Gossamer Lakes Tarsyu Sapling 13 – Tangled Lake is located on top of a rock arch that crosses above the lake on the region’s eastern side. Look for the arch, and the Sapling will be right in the middle.
Tarsyu Sapling 14 is located on the eastern side of Gossamer Lakes, exactly between Tangled Lake (behind the massive rock arch) and Mentor’s River to the north-west. Find a huge tree in an elevation location with pink jellyfish-like Panopyra hanging from its branches, and the Sapling will be inside the tree’s roots.
Tarsyu Sapling 15 in Gossamer Lakes – Shimmering Falls may be found on the Western side of the region, near the Shimmering Falls section of the river. To discover the Sapling, look for the tiniest point in the middle of the split Falls.
Tarsyu Sapling 16 is located in Shadow Wood’s south-western region, near its northern boundary. Following completion of the “Take Flight” Main Quest, proceed to the rocky columns beneath the floating islands, notably those between Tangled Stream to the West, Stepping Stone River to the East, and Learner’s River to the North. The Sapling can be found at the top of the pinnacle just south of where these rivers merge.
Location #17 to 20: Tarsyu Sapling
In Silk Woods, the last Tarsyu Sapling, number 17, is in the Shadow Wood region, which is in the South-Western part of Kinglor Forest. It’s in the eastern part of the region, on a big rock where the Ikran Rookery is and where the main quest “Take Flight” starts. After you finish the mission, use your flying Ikran mount to go to the highest part of the rock formation. In an open space, you will see a young tree growing on a slanted rock.
Moving to Upper Plains, Tarsyu Sapling 1 is in Celebration Valley. Finish the “Pushing Back” Main Quest and then begin “The Wandering Clan” quest. To do this, you need to fly up to a ledge on the Eastern side of Ovation Falls and go into a cave on the side of the cliff. Beyond the short tunnel, you will see the young tree in a small open space.
In the Celebration Valley – Stone Forest Stream, there are three Tarsyu Saplings (2, 3, and 4) near the Great Tusk and south of the Cornerstone Station Field Lab. Go straight down from the Field Lab to a big pile of rocks with a vine hanging down from a cave to a grassy area. Ride the vine lift up to the cave, then go right to find three Tarsyu Saplings.
