How to Defeat Benedicta of The Endless Orison in Blasphemous 2
Benedicta of The Endless Orison has two phases in her boss fight, which make it quite interesting and fun, Phase 1 and Phase 2
Phase 1
You’ll be on moving platforms during the opening part of the struggle against Benedicta in Blasphemous 2. Benedicta has several attacks:
Spiked Pillars: She conjures pillars that move in opposite directions. Move to avoid and attack when safe.
Lightning Strikes: Avoid her lightning by appearing behind her with teleporters.
Ghastly Orbs: Avoid her orbs by blocking them or using teleporters. Stay out of the way of the teleporting Spiked Pillar.
Spiked Pillar Floor: To dodge pillars, jump to the other platform.
Multiple Teleporting Spiked Pillars: As in the last example, but with two pillars.
Spiked Pillars Barrage: Use the teleporter as soon as possible to avoid damage and strike her.
In the first phase of the fight, these movements demand a strategy to overcome.
Phase 2
Once you’ve reduced Benedicta’s health to almost halfway, she’ll use her Lightning Strikes to shatter one of the lifts, kicking off the fight’s second phase. You won’t have a second lift to go between during this phase, but her assaults are easy.
Once you’ve reduced Benedicta’s health to almost halfway, she’ll use her Lightning Strikes to shatter one of the lifts, kicking off the fight’s second phase. You won’t have a second lift to go between during this phase, but her assaults are easy.
She still employs Lightning Strikes, but you must now relocate to the top or bottom of the remaining lift when she stops moving. After her final Lightning Strike, you can hit her a few more times but don’t get too greedy.
Benedicta releases Spiked Pillars above and below the lift in a barrage. Between them, there’s a little safe zone on the lift. Find that secure spot as soon as possible to avoid the pillars.
Spiked Pillars that Teleport: She summons two Spiked Pillars and sends them through teleporters. Standing at the top of the lift, jump twice over the topmost Spiked Pillar. Then, before Benedicta’s next assault, drop down and hit her.
Avoid her Ghastly Orbs by racing in a circle around the elevator, protecting or dodging them. Attack Benedicta for some damage after the last Orb cracks.
These are her second-phase maneuvers. It’s easier than the first phase, but you still have to be cautious.
To Wrap it all Up
Benedicta of The Endless Orison is a boss unlike any other. Her two-stage conflict takes deft strategies and precise timing to win. You’ll have to negotiate moving platforms while dealing with her different attacks, such as Spiked Pillars and Lightning Strikes, in the first phase. After you’ve depleted her health, the second phase begins with a shattered platform, which simplifies her movements but necessitates precise positioning. You can defeat Benedicta and collect your rewards in the Basilica of Absent Faces with strategy and determination.
