He fights with exquisite effort in 3 special stages, a good way to make you desire for easier fights. Eviterno is one of the first of the penitents in the game’s historical background.
How to Beat Eviterno First of The Penitents in Blasphemous 2
This Boss Fight comes in 3 different phases, which makes it even more exciting to play!
Phase 1
In the first phase of the combat against Eviterno, there are 4 assaults to look at out for. When he summons a big Fire Orb, run faraway from wherein it lands, then leap and sprint closer to him after it hits the floor. You can attack him then. He also sends two units of six Snake Orbs that seem like snakes. You can slide below them, sprint via the center, or time your sprint to undergo them. After dodging, hit him multiple times.
Eviterno shoots Red Lightning beams vertically. Dash via them after the closing one to attack him thoroughly. The critical flow is Orb Clusters. He shoots 4 Orbs, one green and three red. Hitting the green one sends it lower back at him and stuns him. Use this opportunity to unleash heavy assaults with the Veredico (Flail) and the Debla of the Lights Prayer.
Phase 2
After you have made Eviterno weak in Blasphemous 2, he takes a sword out of a dead body nearby, recovers his health, and becomes very hard to defeat. This part is not enjoyable.
Eviterno currently has around eight attacks, which includes two combined attacks. He usually begins by attacking with a wide slash called Broadslash Combo. Jump and quickly move to the side to avoid getting hit. After that, he quickly moves and cuts with a sharp object. You will need to jump to avoid getting hurt. He ends with a powerful attack where he slams the ground. Then he jumps twice and quickly dashes in the air to avoid getting hit.
His Overhead Slam is when he jumps and hits from above; you can move by sliding or jumping over him to get behind and attack. The Oval Slash is difficult to do; he plans out the attack and then hits the target. Try to go towards the middle or try to avoid getting in the way.
Eviterno throws stuff that looks like blood; you should jump over them to stay safe. His Rising Slash Combo consists of a really strong attack, a slash in mid-air, and a powerful slam from above. Move quickly, jump, and use the air dash to go behind him in order to continue this sequence of attacks.
Phase 3
When Eviterno’s health decreases to 3/4th in Blasphemous 2, he enters his third stage, where his health doesn’t regenerate. This part is similar to the second phase, but it begins in a strange way. You find yourself in a completely dark room with ghosts of bosses you have encountered before.
In the parts of the room that are dark, you are unable to hurt Eviterno. Just stay away from the phantoms and him.
Phantom Lightning Dash: is a move where Orospina charges towards you with lightning. You need to jump and dash over her to dodge the attack. After that, be sure to also avoid Lesmes’ ground pound.
Phantom Flame Cyclone/Fury Spikes: Lesmes makes Flame Cyclones appear, and Infanta shoots Fury Spikes. If you are in the very left corner, both attacks do not hit you.
Ghost Ceiling with pointed pillars: Benedicta throws pointed pillars from above; go to the very far right, avoid the first pillar, slip underneath the second one, and be patient for the others to come.
Phantom Charging Spear: Odón runs towards you with a lance; jump twice before he gets close, then dash through the air over him. Eviterno’s Oval Slash happens after the dark room. To stay safe, go to the far left corner.
Then, you go back to phase two and do the same thing again.
To Wrap it all Up
