Cursed Tomb Treasure in Hogwarts Legacy
While you’re exploring the southern Highlands in Hogwarts Legacy, you might come across an old mansion. It’s guarded by two tough enemies called Infamous Foes. This mansion is special because it’s part of the Cursed Tomb Treasure.
Unlike other treasures you find in the game, this one is connected to a side quest and a spot where really old and strong magic is found, called an Ancient Magic Hotspot. So, getting this treasure is not just a regular task—it’s linked to a bigger story and some very powerful magic. This makes it a unique and exciting adventure in the game!
Location of The Quest
To start a special mission, go to the bottom left part of the Manor Cape area, near a village called Bainburgh, in the southern part of the Highlands. Before you start the mission, find a magic fire called West Manor Cape Floo Flame just below the cliffs to the left of the big house.
Use your Broom to fly straight up from the magic fire. When you see a statue of a reaper near some gravestones, you’re in the right place. Use a spell like Incendio or Confringo to light up the bowl under the statue. This will open a secret door to the basement of the big house where you can start the mission called “Cursed Tomb Treasure.”
Underground, you’ll have to fight two strong enemies: Ailsa Travers and Lord of the Manor. Ailsa fights like a special snake called an Ashwinder, but she’s tougher. Beat her to make the Lord of the Manor show up. To beat this creature, you need to set it on fire using a spell or a barrel that can explode.
After you beat them both, use the spell Alohamora on the chest to get a piece of the map you need for the mission.
Location of Cursed Tomb Treasure & How to Find it
The Tomb of Treachery is the location where the treasure is hidden. It’s located in the northwest corner of the Poidsear Coast. After passing the Merlin Trial, you must go behind a waterfall to enter the tomb. There is a locked door inside the tomb. To open it, you must use the Lumos spell to guide three moths to it.
In the room to the right, there are two moths. One of them is caught in a spiderweb. The third moth is perched on a high ledge. You can get up there by lifting a nearby box with Wingardium Leviosa and then Leviosa.
Once you open the door, you will need to fight some bad people called Inferius. Fortunately, there are barrels that explode nearby which can make it easy for you to defeat them.
After you finish with that, open the Map Fragment. It will display a game on the ground. You can change the direction of the pieces by using a magic spell called Flipendo.
Finding the solution to the puzzle will reveal the hidden treasure chest inside the cursed tomb. Inside, you will find something that can change your appearance called the Treasure-Seeker’s Attire.
