While reaching the Korok Forest in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild required traversing a perplexing labyrinth of smoke in the Lost Woods, finding your way to this enchanted forest in Tears of the Kingdom is comparatively more straightforward, granting you a clearer view of the Deku Tree, Hestu, and the mischievous Koroks gathered together in harmony.

Upon arriving at the Lost Woods through conventional means, you will encounter a formidable stone gate standing before you, serving as a gateway to the mystical Korok Forest. Surrounding the gate, an eerie fog blankets the forest, making it appear enigmatic and foreboding. Any path you choose within the woods will inevitably lead to the fog engulfing you, ultimately expelling you back to the entrance, creating a disorienting and frustrating experience.

This chasm is situated at the precise coordinates (1063, 1655, 0167) within the vast and sprawling landscape of Hyrule.

As you approach the Minshi Woods chasm, take a moment to mark the center of the Korok Forest on your map using a pin or marker. This simple action will prove invaluable as you navigate through the treacherous Depths lying beneath the forest. By placing a pin on the center of the Korok Forest, you establish a visual guide that will assist you in maintaining your bearings and staying on course.

How to Get through The Lost Woods in Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom

When you arrive at the Lost Woods, it’s covered in smoke and has a ruined stone entrance. If you try to go through the maze, the fog will teleport you back to the start. Instead of going through the maze, skip the Lost Woods and go through the Depths. Before going into the Depths, gather Brightbloom seeds to light up the way.

To reach the Korok Forest, go to the Minshi Woods chasm at (1063, 1655, 0167) on the map. Put a pin on the center of the Korok Forest before diving into the chasm. Go northwest in the Depths towards the pin. Use Brightbloom seeds to light up your surroundings and avoid the gloom on the floor. As you get closer to the pin, you’ll see ogre trees with faces. Climb to the top of an ogre tree to find a large poe on top. Follow the large poes to jump from tree to tree towards a distant lightroot.

Glide to the non-gloom area in the distance and head towards the pin. Find the Rikonasum Lightroot at (0410, 2131, -0592) and a stone platform nearby. Stand on the mound on the platform, use Ascend, and rise up to the Korok Forest.

Next, you’ll need to remove the gloom from the Korok Forest, which involves facing Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon. Good luck!
