Walkthrough of The Mayak Shrine in Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom
In the Mayak Shrine puzzle of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will put their timing skills to the test as they navigate a vertical space using their paraglider and strategically activate buttons. Here’s a step-by-step guide
- Upon entering the shrine, take note of the yellow crystal button. When activated, it triggers a platform to emerge from beneath a stone slab in front of you.
- Move to the left where a pillar periodically rises and descends from the ground. Wait for it to launch you into the air, then glide down to the higher platform.
- Use the Ultrahand to position a large boulder in front of you on the ramp. Be quick as the boulder will start rolling down the ramp.
- As the ball rolls, paraglide back over the lower platform near the button and prepare to hit it to activate the target platform. Time it so that the boulder is at the edge of the ramp, about to tip down onto the platform. The boulder hitting the target platform will trigger the door across the chasm to open.
- Jump back on the undulating pillar to be propelled into the air again. Allowing you to safely glide across the room to reach the door.
Entering the Second Room in The Mayak Shrine Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom
- Enter the second room and ignore the crystal button for now. Descend to the floor and locate another rising pillar. Jump on it and ride it to the top of the room. Then, turn left and glide to the visible platform.
- Descend slowly with the paraglider until you spot a treasure chest hanging beneath the platform. Once close enough, release the paraglider and free fall. Time your shot with the bow and arrow to hit the target and release the treasure chest. Make sure to use the paraglider again to descend safely.
- Open the fallen chest to obtain a large Zonai charge.
- Return to the pillar to launch yourself into the air once more. This time, look to the right and descend to another pillar that will propel you even higher.
- Safely land on the highest platform and approach the visible boulder. Use the Ultrahand to position it on the ramp, causing it to start rolling.
- Leap off the platform, dive in mid-air, and then activate the paraglider to safely reach the crystal button before landing. Press the button as soon as you touch the ground, with the boulder closely following behind. If timed correctly, the door on the opposite side will open.
- Proceed through the opened door and interact with the sigil to obtain the Light of Blessing.
By successfully completing this challenging puzzle. Players will progress further in their quest and unravel the mysteries within the Mayak Shrine.
