Ocelot F620 in GTA 5 – Jaguar of Los Santos

Grand Theft Auto (GTA) is famous for its cars because the franchise has always placed a great emphasis on providing players with a vast array of vehicles to choose from, ranging from ordinary cars to high-performance supercars and everything in between.

GTA has also been successful in creating a diverse and realistic in-game car culture that allows players to customize and modify their vehicles with different paint jobs, body kits, and performance upgrades. The cars in GTA are not just a means of transportation but also serve as a tool for gameplay and mission objectives, making them an integral part of the game’s overall experience.

The Ocelot F620 is a type of luxurious two-door grand tourer that appears in The Ballad of Gay Tony, Grand Theft Auto V, and Grand Theft Auto Online. This high-speed vehicle is designed in the European style and is equally impressive both on the road and when parked outside popular paparazzi spots, despite being illegally parked.

Ocelot F620 Design Inspiration

The Ocelot F620, which appears in The Ballad of Gay Tony, is a combination of the Maserati GranTurismo and the smoother Jaguar XK (X150). It has front quarter vents that are similar to those of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, while the headlights are reminiscent of the Maserati Quattroporte V.

The body shape and cabin closely resemble the Super GT, which suggests a connection between the two cars. Interestingly, the Jaguar XK and Aston Martin DB9 were designed by Ian Callum and share some visual similarities.

The F620 is similar in design to the Dewbauchee Super GT, with both vehicles having the same interior. Although the F620 doesn’t have any badges, billboard advertisements of the car feature the manufacturer Ocelot, which implies that it is the GTA version of a Jaguar since both names are related to cat species.

Ocelot F620 Design Features

The F620 in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online remains true to its design in The Ballad of Gay Tony, but with certain modifications. The most notable changes include the Ocelot badges that are now present on the separated grille and the bottom-left corner of the boot/trunk, which set it apart from its predecessor.

The interior of the car has also been given a more intricate and elaborate design, featuring the same “Super GT” interior that is common in other vehicles of its kind. Overall, these enhancements serve to enhance the car’s aesthetic appeal and make it a more desirable addition to the game’s lineup of vehicles.

Ocelot F620 Color Scheme

Similarly to its previous iteration, the F620 in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online is only available in one color. To coordinate the stitching on the interior with the paint job, they added some flair to the car’s appearance. The latest version of the F620 also boasts a refreshed wheel design, with split five-spoke rims and a new tire pattern that give it a more modern and stylish look.

The brake calipers on this model are painted red, which is a deviation from the previous iteration that featured orange calipers. The combination of these updates to the car’s design makes it a desirable option for players looking to add a high-end vehicle to their collection in the game.

Ocelot F620 Engine Performance

The F620 in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online has a turbocharged Inline-4 engine model that provides sufficient power for its weight. However, it falls short in comparison to its predecessor in GTA IV, with slower acceleration and degraded overall performance. Nevertheless, the car’s high top speed for its class compensates for its lack of acceleration.

The F620 feels relatively sporty, with decent response time, although its cornering radius is below average, which results in minor over-steer issues. Despite this, the over-steer is manageable for the most part. The car’s brakes are decent, although slightly below average. One major drawback of the F620 is its poor crash deformation, requiring only a few hits to disable its engine.

Despite its shortcomings, the F620 is still a thrilling and sporty car to drive, and can be a reliable option for a getaway vehicle. With a modeled turbocharged twin-cam inline-4 engine, the F620 can reach a top speed that is among the highest in its class, and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds.

While over-steer can be an issue on sharper turns or looser road surfaces, the F620’s low and firm suspension and very good braking make it an enjoyable car to handle.

To Wrap it all Up

The Ocelot F620 is a luxurious two-door grand tourer in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Its design is a combination of the Maserati GranTurismo and Jaguar XK, and it has a turbocharged Inline-4 engine that provides reasonable power for its weight.

Despite its degraded overall performance compared to its predecessor in GTA IV, it has a high top speed for its class and is relatively sporty with decent response time. However, its cornering radius is sub-par and minor over-steer is present but manageable. The F620 has poor crash deformation, but it remains an enjoyable and sporty car to drive.
