The Borderlands games have lots of different characters that fans really like. They include well-known people like Mad Moxxi, as well as criminals and crazy people that are spread throughout the game world. This means that the Vault Hunters also drive for the team. The Vault Hunters save different worlds in the games, face tough enemies, and end up in funny and awkward situations.
Each team of Vault Hunters in a video game has their own special skills and personalities, but they all have one thing in common: they are good at getting out of difficult situations. Fans can play in tough levels and meet many unfriendly and aggressive characters. Few Vault Hunters have become well-known for their exceptional achievements in the Borderlands world. Only a handful of them have had a significant influence by being powerful and leading important missions and stories.
Krieg
Gearbox unveiled Krieg as the second Downloadable character in Borderlands 2. He presents a unique play style and a fascinating peek into the world of bandits since he is the only playable maniac in the series. Hyperion transformed Krieg into a psycho through experimentation and torment, but his “inner voice” stops him from carrying out the kind of widespread killing and destruction that other bandits engage in. This inner voice grants a glimpse into Krieg’s past self before the psycho personality took over.
Players learn about the psycho’s damaged mind as the game progresses through internal one-liners from the voice and seemingly random voice lines while he battles adversaries. Krieg, a Vault Hunter in the second game, reappears in Borderlands 3 as a voice-only ECHO in the Crazy Krieg and Fabulous Flustercluck side-quests.
Athena
After a string of betrayals, terrible setbacks, and a stint working for one of the four big corporations in charge of their respective regions of the galaxy, The Gladiator, like many other Vault Hunters, decides to pursue vault hunting. After leaving the Crimson Lance assassins team, Athena makes her debut in a Borderlands DLC. In Borderlands: The Prequel, Athena makes a second appearance after defeating General Knoxx as one of five Vault Hunters on a mission to help Handsome Jack unlock a Vault on Elpis.
Athena, the game’s narrator who is armed with a shield and exudes the confidence of a seasoned killer, undergoes interrogation by Lilith, Mordecai, and Brick after completing her share of killings. She offers the Crimson Raiders a unique perspective on the world beyond their gang and is the primary source of information they possess regarding Handsome Jack’s rise to power. She doesn’t make another appearance until the release of Tales From the Borderlands 2.

FL4K
The Beastmaster, one of the two robots Vault Hunters introduced in the franchise, FL4K, uses their newly acquired sentience to pursue what they refer to as The Hunt. One of FL4three K’s animal buddies, including Rakks and Skags, participates in the battle with them. They have trouble navigating human culture and get along better with the nearby wildlife.
They constantly pursue “the hunt” and make an effort to placate Lady Death, who represents death itself. The Beastmaster joins the Vault Hunters on their mission to take down Borderlands 3’s deadly foes, the Calypso twins, in an effort to learn more about himself.
Gaige
Gaige, the first DLC character added to Borderlands 2, is one of only two mechanically assisted Vault Hunters in the whole game. She is on the run from the law on her home planet of Eden-5 with Deathtrap by her side and joins the Vault Hunters. It’s difficult to believe Gaige was simply an ordinary (very intelligent and ambitious) high school student before she started making calls for “anarchy” and had a genuine killing machine fighting by her side.
After her adversary in the scientific competition was unexpectedly and clumsily murdered, everything changed. She is currently prowling the wastelands with the greatest reward of all, which is a staggering $820 billion. Like a real streamer, Gaige also updates her millions of followers on her travels with ECHO feeds. She reappears in the Borderlands 3 DLC. Excellent Flustercluck side quest.
Brick
In Borderlands, Brick joins the first group of vault hunters as “himself.” Brick, who was a founding member of the Crimson Raiders, typically uses his fists to resolve issues. Brick is the Vault Hunter to select if players want a character who literally puts their head before their heart.
A bandit group that Vault Hunters can join is eventually led by him because of his propensity for living up to his reputation. Throughout the series, he reappears multiple times, even joining Mordecai in protesting Athena’s execution in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

Zane
The somewhat-retired hitman, who comes from the infamous Flynt family, joins the Vault Hunters in Borderlands 3 in an effort to fight the Calypso twins. Similar to Zer0’s Decepti0n and Jack’s Expendable Assets talents, Zane has the power to send forth a Digi-clone of himself to cause more harm.
In his introductory trailer, Zane is seen talking to his Digi-clone before wiping out a group of bandits, giving off the impression that he is a reclusive individual. Zane appears exclusively in Borderlands 3.
Zer0
About this sly Vault Hunter, not much is known. As one of the four original playable characters in Borderlands 2, Zer0 sets out on his journey. The assassin is looking for someone who can live up to his expectations in a fight since he is constantly seeking a challenge. Although being a character that is notably quieter than the other Vault Hunters, he nonetheless contributes memorable phrases and plots to the series.
Zer0, a fan favorite, is both an unbeatable foe and an indispensable comrade. He also writes good haiku, as players quickly learn from his voice lines while taking on his role of him. Zer0 appears in Borderlands 3 and Tales From the Borderlands.
Amara
Amara is one of just six sirens that have been created, and she makes her initial appearance as a vault hunter in Borderlands 3. The character offers an aggressive and offensive fighting style to the Siren class, in contrast to other sirens players encounter throughout the game.
In contrast to other Sirens such as Maya and Lilith, who focus on abilities like Phasecast and Phaselock, which either immobilize or dispatch enemies, she uses her Siren powers as a complement to her already impressive combat technique via Phasegrasp. Amara is a practical vigilante with a thirst for justice who would never back down from a fight.

Maya
Maya, another Siren, debuts in Borderlands 2 and plays a significant part in Borderlands 3. She returns to her home planet as a defender after her stint as a Vault Hunter, eventually battling the weapons manufacturer Maliwan during an attempted invasion.
Maya, a sympathetic and caring heroine, won the hearts of her fans in no time. She shows Kreig compassion, and she gains Maya’s support. Her readiness to accept him eventually and her desire to defend her loved ones are both admirable qualities. Which makes Troy Calypso’s decision to kill her even more heartbreaking.
Lilith
Lilith becomes the best Vault Hunter throughout the whole series. She shows up a lot and becomes the leader of the Crimson Raiders after Roland dies, and she is a big part of the story throughout the whole series. She is called the “Firehawk” and in Borderlands 2 and 3, she pretends to be dead to help her friends in the fight against The Calypso Twins.
Lilith, a very strong Siren, found a way to make herself even more powerful by eating a special substance called Eridium that comes from outer space. The Vault Hunters would not have succeeded without her help, guidance, and sometimes harsh remarks.
