Actor Ali Fazal, renowned for his portrayal of Govind “Guddu” Pandit in Amazon Prime Video’s Mirzapur series, is set to join the Hindi dub voice cast for the Solo Leveling anime.
Fazal is set to voice the character of Song Chiyul, a Korean C-Rank Hunter in the series. As an elderly mentor, Song Chiyul guides the vulnerable protagonist, Sung Jinwoo, through the challenges of the Double Dungeon incident, and together, they confront its trials.
The release date for Solo Leveling was recently disclosed as January 6, 2024. The anime will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll and will simultaneously feature a Hindi dub for Indian viewers.
Having made his Hollywood debut in Furious 7, Ali Fazal has also played a leading role alongside Dame Judi Dench in Victoria and Abdul. His credits include appearances in Death on the Nile alongside Gal Gadot and Kandahar with Gerard Butler.

Solo Leveling Will Host an Early Fan Premiere of Hindi Dub
Crunchyroll is gearing up for an exclusive fan premiere of the initial two episodes of Solo Leveling. Scheduled for December 20 at PVR Maison, BKC, in Mumbai. The event will include an interview with Ali Fazal conducted by Anupama Chopra and Suchin Mehrotra, in addition to an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
