Capcom is teasing ‘big news’ for a Street Fighter 6 showcase next week

Lil Wayne, a rapper, will host the 30-minute online event, which will start at 3 p.m. PT, 6 p.m. ET, and 11 p.m. BST on Thursday, April 20. Developers will also be there to make some “major news,” according to Lil Wayne.

In addition to information on World Tour, Battle Hub, and Combat Ground, Capcom hinted that there might be some significant news near the conclusion of the show.

World Tour mode, which allows players to build their own characters, explore a number of open-world locales, and pick up skills from veteran Street Fighter fighters, is one of its more prominent new features.

Four more characters, four additional character colors, and 4,200 Drive Tickets—which can be used to purchase in-game fighter customizations—are all included in the Deluxe Version of the game.

Moreover, the Ultimate Edition includes an extra 3,500 Drive Tickets, two new stages, and eight more character outfits.

Legendary Entertainment was confirmed to have purchased the film and television rights to the Street Fighter series earlier this month.

Later, Capcom revealed that it is working with the Dune and Godzilla vs. Kong production business to co-produce a live-action Street Fighter film.
