Disney Lorcana is unveiling a fresh card featuring Raya in the upcoming expansion set, known as Rise of the Floodborn. This announcement follows the official revelation last year at the 2022 D23 Expo, generating tremendous excitement and anticipation among fans for Disney’s official trading card game. A significant part of this anticipation stems from the unique character art and the inclusion of six distinct rarity tiers.
Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter had its initial launch on August 18, and the demand was so substantial that plans for another reprint in late 2023 were promptly announced. Additionally, in September, the Disney Lorcana publishing company Ravensburger disclosed the arrival of Chapter 2. This expansion introduces over 200 new cards, each adorned with fresh artwork and focuses on six more Disney franchises. These include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Zootopia, The Great Mouse Detective, The Jungle Book, and Raya and the Last Dragon. Notably, characters from Winnie the Pooh and Tiana will also make their debut in the game.
Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn Raya Card
With the highly anticipated release of Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn on November 17, Game Rant is thrilled to present a brand-new hero card featuring Raya from Disney’s “Raya and the Last Dragon.” The card, named Ruby Ink, holds a common rarity status and showcases artwork by Amber Kommavongsa, depicting Raya. It carries the classifications of Storyborn, Princess, and Hero, with a Strength rating of 2 and a Willpower rating of 3.
This card bestows the player with the ability to read the character after it has removed another during a challenge. However, this action comes at the cost of Raya’s inability to embark on quests for the remainder of the turn. Enthusiastic players can anticipate obtaining this card and various others when Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn debuts at local game stores commencing on November 17, followed by the Disney Lorcana Disney100 Edition on December 1.
