Fortnite now has Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, two recognizable characters from the Resident Evil franchise. At now, Fortnite is essentially a digital play area and advertisement. An early version of the game was a rather basic tower defense game, but it has now undergone a massive transformation. Epic Games tried and failed to attract a sizable audience with the game’s first release. Still, when they switched to a battle royale mode, the game became an instant hit and revolutionized the live service gaming business. Fortnite’s massive crossovers, which advertise new and popular media, are a major selling factor. It has grown into an enormous empire that controls the market.
As the release of Resident Evil 4 Remake approaches, Fortnite has introduced Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield skins. Leon is not wearing the coat he wore in the fourth game. But he is wearing black tactical clothing, carrying a dagger across his breast, and sporting a hairstyle reminiscent of Karen’s. Both heroes come with supplemental cosmetics, and Claire can be seen with her signature bright red jacket and pants. As a nod to the original Resident Evil titles, Leon will be equipped with a silver briefcase and his famed knife will double as a pickaxe. Claire, meanwhile, will get an umbrella and a set of colorful keys. The forthcoming Resident Evil 4 remake will benefit significantly from this excellent compilation and crossover.
You may now have a whole team of Resident Evil characters, including Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine if you so want. There’s no telling whether any additional Resident Evil characters may join Fortnite in the future. Even if there aren’t many more renowned protagonists to add. Fortnite might still benefit from the addition of prominent figures like Albert Wesker.
