Hogwarts Legacy Developers Shield Cats in Game with AVADA CAT-DAVRA Spell!

The cats in Hogwarts Legacy are among the video game characters that players like engaging with. The developer team at Avalanche Software, however, was forced to act since some players were abusing these supernatural creatures.

Hogwarts Legacy’s main character casts a spell on a nearby cat in a video that Chandler Wood, Community Manager at Avalanche Software, posted to his YouTube channel. But, the magical barrier instantly negates the attack. A game over screen appears after the cat strikes back with an unexpectedly deadly Avada Kedavra spell.

Several fans are calling for this feature to be added to Hogwarts Legacy even though it was only developed for internal usage and won’t be in the final game. Others speculate that it might be included as DLC or unlocked by chance, while others make fun of the fact that there are no dogs in the game.

The Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy are available to players, including the killing curse, however, they have a lengthy cooldown. Users can use any methods required to defeat their enemies because there is no morality system in place, which makes for some interesting gaming.

The cats of Hogwarts may rest easy knowing they are safe thanks to the addition of this magical barrier, though. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy were released on May 5, and the Switch version was released on July 25. Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
