The BLAST Paris CSGO Major Pick ‘Em guide.

The final Major for CSGO is going to begin shortly with BLAST Paris, which means the final opportunity for players to play the Pick ‘Em challenge and acquire the prestigious diamond coin (at least in CSGO).

Valve published the final CSGO Major’s spectator pass, as well as capsules containing team stickers and player autograph stickers for the tournament’s Contenders, Challengers, and Legends, less than a week before the start of BLAST Paris. Viewer pass holders may participate in the Pick ‘Em challenge and fulfil goals to improve their Paris Major event currency.

How to Start the Pick ‘Em for Paris CSGO Major

The BLAST Paris CSGO Major may be purchased from the game’s main menu. Go to the Paris section in the shop area at the bottom of the main page. You may buy the pass alone for $10 or with three Souvenir Tokens for $18.

You will make nine picks for the Challengers and Legends Stages: one team to go 3-0, one team to go 0-3, and seven teams to go through that level. To complete a challenge in each of these levels, you must get five of the nine predictions accurate.

Before the Champions Stage begins, you must complete the whole playoff bracket, including who wins the grand finals.

Here is the complete list of challenges available during the Pick ‘Em Challenge:

  • Activate coin before tournament ends
  • Make accurate Pick ‘Em predictions to earn rewards
  • For Challengers Stage, make nine predictions before it begins and get at least five correct
  • Same for Legends Stage
  • Make seven predictions for Champions Stage before it begins
  • Predict two quarterfinal matches, one semifinal match, and grand final match to continue earning rewards.

Paris CSGO Major Suggestions

The ‘3-0 issue’ is something that Pick ‘Em challenge players are familiar with. Your impulse is to choose one of the better teams, such as G2 or FaZe, but if that team loses one match, you might finish up missing out on two predictions if they advance nevertheless.

While FaZe and G2 are excellent choices for the 3-0, I’d like to recommend a team that might easily go 3-0 or not advance past Challengers at all: Ninjas in Pyjamas. The squad has enough skill to go on a fantastic run, but consistency and cohesiveness concerns might mean failing to achieve three victories at all.

Grayhound and IHC (now known as The Mongolz) were popular favourites in Rio and each ended up grabbing a win, but 00 Nation and Imperial both fell short in front of their home crowds. Given how difficult their early matches are, Grayhound and The Mongolz remain good selections, but Fluxo from Brazil has also emerged.

The Challengers Stage features four teams listed in HLTV’s top ten: G2, FaZe, Liquid, and ENCE. All four should be booked in order to advance and be considered for the 3-0 berth.

To Wrap it all Up

The final CSGO Major for BLAST Paris is about to start, and players have a final chance to participate in the Pick ‘Em challenge to earn the prestigious diamond coin. Valve has published the final CSGO Major spectator pass and capsules containing team and player autograph stickers for the tournament’s Contenders, Challengers, and Legends.

To participate, players must make nine predictions for the Challengers and Legends Stages, and seven predictions for the Champions Stage. They must also correctly predict two quarterfinal matches, one semifinal match, and the grand final match to continue earning rewards.
