Penn State DuBois Levels Up Campus Experience with Exciting Esports Club Game Nights

The newly formed esports club at Penn State DuBois is bringing an exciting twist to campus life with their latest event series. Dubbed as “game nights,” the club’s weekly gatherings provide an opportunity for students to come together and play video games.

Held every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., game nights take place at the PAW Center’s gaming lounge (room 205), where multiple television sets are set up to accommodate multiple games and consoles. The first game night on March 1 featured Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo Switch, with more games to follow as the club explores different platforms.

Derek Mohney, one of the club’s members, expressed the hope of expanding to other gaming platforms such as PC gaming as student interest grows. The esports club encourages any Penn State DuBois student with an interest in video games to attend future game nights and interact with club members, play games, and even join the esports club.

Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or a curious beginner, the esports club at Penn State DuBois welcomes you to join in on the fun. For more information and upcoming events, students can contact Mohney at [email protected].
