2023 LCK Spring Playoffs Witness a Legendary Showdown: T1 vs KT Roster

In just three months, the LCK has already produced a series that will go down in history as one of the best matches of the year. The playoffs saw KT Rolster surprise everyone by knocking out Liiv SANDBOX, but their real challenge was yet to come when they faced T1 – the team that had lost just one series in the regular split.

The series was a rollercoaster of emotions, culminating in a heart-stopping game five that lasted for a record-breaking 54 minutes and 51 seconds. Despite being down by five thousand gold early on, T1 came back to take an eight thousand gold lead, but KT refused to give up and fought their way back into the game. In the end, it was T1’s Gumayusi and Keria who sealed the deal with a bold engage, breaking the record for the longest game of the entire 2023 LCK split.

But that’s not all – the game also saw a staggering 60 kills, shattering the previous record of 41 kills set by T1 and Gen.G. And the viewership numbers for the series were equally impressive, with a peak of more than 1 million viewers tuning in to witness the epic showdown between T1 and KT Rolster.

With this win, T1 advances to round three of the playoffs, while KT Rolster must battle through the losers’ bracket for another chance at glory. But one thing is for sure – this series has set the bar high for the rest of the 2023 LCK season, and we can’t wait to see what other surprises are in store.
