A statement from developer Iron Galaxy Studios and Fortnite publisher Epic Games confirms that the Rumbleverse shuts down, a “brawler royale” game that started just six months ago.
In order to “improve the experience,” the developers of Rumbleverse pushed up the game’s release date from February to August.
The free-to-play 40-player brawler royale has been praised. As a “huge funny playground where incredible things are continually occurring,” Rumbleverse shuts down later this month.
At 4 p.m. on February 28, the servers will be shut down permanently, and the in-game shop has already been taken down. After that timer runs out, you won’t be able to play the game or access any of the DLC you’ve paid for. Rumbleverse is offering full refunds to any and all gamers who have made a purchase in-game.
On January 31. An update went live that made the current battle pass accessible to all players and quadrupled XP earnings “so you can fast-track unlocks for any tier. Iron Galaxy boasted that the games emotes and extra accessories have been unlocked at no cost to the player.
“This project has been a passion project to offer a unique experience in a popular and highly challenging genre for games.” The business stated in a statement. Whether you participated in the first playtest following our reveal or are just now firing your first arrow. We appreciate you being a part of our adventure.

Iron Galaxy promised in an open letter to the gaming community that the studio “will keep producing games. This is what drives us, and what we were created to do. Our workers have the talent and creativity to keep the globe in motion. You won’t stop hearing from us anytime soon. Please don’t think this is the last time we’ll ask you to join in the fun.
This announcement should not spell the end of Rumbleverse, the site said. Maybe the Rumble has not yet been fully revealed to you. We hope you’ll be laced up and ready to take your position in the cannon if we ever have the chance to invite folks back onto the deck of the war barge again.
