The Greenhouse Haven Kit for those with a green thumb and the Basement Treasures Kit for those wishing to create a cozy new place in their home are the two new DLC kits coming to The Sims 4 on April 20, 2023. While neither will significantly alter gameplay, they both provide you the option to increase the amount of room your Sims have to live in.
For Sims players who appreciate the game’s gardening aspects, the Greenhouse Haven Kit will be especially valuable. With the addition of the option to construct and customize your “dream” greenhouse with glass walls and doors, these buildings will become the ideal location for gardening practice and plant care.
Sims will be able to adorn the greenhouse with a variety of new gardening accessories, such as pot stacks, a planting table, hanging flower baskets, and more. Given that The Sims 4’s pots have always felt a little bit lacking, this should provide gardening enthusiasts with more options.
With the new Basement Treasures Kit, you can create a cozy area beneath your house that’s ideal for Sim friends to hang out or for peaceful nighttime pastimes. With sloppy couches and “aged decor” now available to decorate your basement rooms, this package adds some “grungy” new items to the fold.
A milk crate filled with vinyl records, an ancient television, vintage awards, old family photos, weathered trunks, and various stains that may be applied to surfaces is among the new additions. As strange as it may seem, purchasing this pack will result in you paying for mold and scuffed-up old stuff to clutter up your basement.
Yet, the kit seems like it will give basement areas a sense of personality and gradually make Sim homes seem more “lived in.”
As EA says, ‘From stains to soils and everyday wear and tear, there is comfort in the flawed, passed down and lived in.’
