The latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone has introduced a crossover with the popular Amazon TV show, The Boys. The update, which started on July 12, brings four playable characters and their superpowers from The Boys into the game. In this news we’ll be discussing about Warzone Patch Note in detail.
The first character to join the game is Starlight, who is available as part of an operator bundle. Homelander will be added on July 16, followed by Black Noir on July 20.
Each bundle is priced at 2,400 CoD points (£16.79) and includes three Tracer Weapon Blueprints, a finishing move, weapon cosmetics, and a loading screen.
In addition to the cosmetic items, Warzone players now have the chance to find the ‘Temp V’ field upgrade, which grants one of four random superpowers: Charge Jump, Electric Shockwave, Laser Vision, and Teleport.
Charge Jump allows players to propel themselves across the map without taking fall damage, Electric Shockwave creates a powerful electrical explosion that damages players, AI combatants, vehicles, and equipment, Laser Vision enables players to hover in the air and shoot laser beams from their eyes, and Teleport allows players to warp into the sky.
The Boys has been actively involved in various crossovers lately. The official TikTok account for the show recently confirmed that Homelander, one of its super-powered villains, will be a playable character in Mortal Kombat 1, set to release on September 19.
Aside from The Boys crossover, the latest Call of Duty Warzone patch note introduces the MX Guardian shotgun, a new Dragon’s Breath underbarrel attachment, and several balance tweaks to weapons in Warzone and Modern Warfare 2.
