- Each player receives $1,500 in Monopoly money to start the game, divided as follows: two $500 bills, four $100 bills, one $50 bill, one $20 bill and two $10 bills.
- The player with the highest roll goes first.
- On your turn, roll the dice. Move your token the number of spaces indicated on the dice. Follow the instructions on the space your token lands on.
- When you land on an unowned property, you may buy it. Place the property card face up in front of you and pay the bank the amount listed on the card. If the property is already owned, you must pay rent to the owner.
- When you land on a location space, draw a card from the pile corresponding to that location. Follow the instructions on the card.
- When you land on a fortification space, you may build a fortification on that space and any spaces connected to it. Place the fortification cards face up in front of you and pay the bank the amount listed on the card.
- The game ends when all fortifications have been built or all the other players have gone bankrupt. The player with the most money and fortifications wins.
